EUR futures: a top in place?

CME Group’s preliminary figures for EUR futures markets showed traders scaled back their open interest positions by around 3.5k contracts on Tuesday vs. Monday’s 514,272 contracts. On the opposite side, volume rose by nearly 16K contracts.

EUR/USD tough barrier lies above 1.2400

EUR/USD’s weekly downside has been on the back of declining open interest after climbing to levels above 1.2400 the figure at the beginning of the week. Rising volume, however, warns over the likelihood of losing further upside momentum.
