AUD/JPY consolidating below 84.50; more losses ahead?
FXStreet (Córdoba) - AUD/JPY is trading practically unchanged on Wednesday, hovering around 84.20. The pair has remained in ranges during all day, consolidating below the last week lows and facing bearish pressure.
AUD/JPY eyeing 82.00 and lower?
A weak Japanese yen gave support to the pair today. During the Asian session it managed to recover some ground after falling on Tuesday to the lowest level in a week, despite a weak GDP reading from Australia.
Yesterday it bottomed at 83.58 and then bounced to the upside. The recovery was capped by 84.55. Around 84.50 a key support area is located, a consolidation below could add bearish pressure to the pair, that last week bottomed at 82.01, level that was last seen back in 2012.
