EUR/NZD off fresh 8-day lows above 1.6600

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - The EUR/NZD foreign exchange cross rate is last trading at 1.6651, off recent session/weekly highs at 1.6678 printed on the back of recent Kiwi weakness, correcting part of last week squeeze higher across the board.

EUR/NZD positive for the week

The EUR/NZD cross has managed to recover from early NY session weekly and fresh 8-day lows at 1.6515, last up +0.34% for the week so far, ahead of later on German ZEW and EU industrial production at 09:00 GMT. EUR/NZD is up +4.73% year to date, while almost +6% in last 3 months.

EUR/NZD key technical levels

Immediate resistance to the upside for EUR/NZD shows at recent session/weekly highs 1.6678, followed by Friday's highs at 1.6760, while to the downside, closest support lies at Thursday's lows 1.6638, followed by Friday's lows at 1.6652.
