Retail sales, the U. of Michigan confidence index and July CPI prints are due. Elsewhere, GDP figures are out in Japan, UK and the Eurozone. “In the UK, investors will pay particular attention to the BoE minutes from August for insights on the MPC’s thought process behind the introduction of forward guidance.”
