NZD/USD ends week testing 0.7700
FXStreet (Córdoba) - NZD/USD lost almost a hundred pips on Friday and finished the week testing the 0.7700 area, as the US dollar soared across the board.
The pair failed to hold above 0.7800 on Wednesday and during Friday’s Asian session weakened further and fell to 0.7745. On European hours broke below and accelerated the slide. It bottomed during New York trading at 0.7696, the lowest price since December 23.
Despite holding above December lows and even above last week lows, the NZD/USD pair is about to post the lowest weekly close since May 2012.
