AUD/JPY recovers above 99.00

FXStreet (Córdoba) - The aussie is rising modestly against the yen on Wednesday, after dropping sharply yesterday, when posted the lowest daily close since November 10.

AUD/JPY supported at 98.75

On Tuesday AUD/JPY bottomed at 98.53 but then rebounded and trimmed losses during the American session. Today during the Asian session moved to the downside but found support at 98.75, that has become a short term support level to consider.

From the mentioned level rebounded and recently printed a fresh daily high at 99.45. The area around 99.45/50 is the immediate resistance to consider that also capped the upside during yesterday’s American session.

Opec slashes its forecast for 2015 crude demand

Opec has slashed its forecast for 2015, saying that demand for crude will be the lowest in 12 years. The oil cartel cut its 2015 projection by 300k barrels/day to 28.9m barrels/day – down 1.15m/day on the November 2014 average.
